Medical Assistant

Referral Coordinator

Looking for a referral coordinator to join our clinic team This is a full time position M-F, 8-5. The referral coordinator works with providers and nursing staff to facilitate outside consults and prior authorizations.

Qualifications:

Current Iowa MA or LPN license required

Experience working in outpatient setting preferred

Clinical Research Study Coordinator

The Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation (NEIMEF)/Northeast Iowa Family Practice Center (NEIFPC) is seeking candidates for a Full-Time Research Study Coordinator position.  Primary job responsibilities will include:  identification and recruitment of potential study patients, meeting with patients, and ensuring adherence to study protocols involving new medications.  If you enjoy medical science, learning about new discoveries, and working with people, this position may be of interest to you.  

The Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation (NEIMEF) is home to the Northeast Iowa Family Medicine Residency Program and the Northeast Iowa Family Practice Center.  NEIMEF has been participating in phase II-IV clinical drug trials and other research studies for 25 years.  

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s degree in a health related field, Medical Assistant, or other related medical experience.  Prior clinic experience is preferred.  The candidate must be able to read and analyze technical reports and regulations.  Basic computer skills are required.  Some very infrequent travel may be required.  Strong communication skills are essential.
