Bio: Dr. Day joined the Family Practice Center in July of 2006. He received his BS from the University of Iowa College of Engineering, Iowa City, and went on to the University of Iowa College of Medicine, for his MD. After completing his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois- Rockford in 1995, he served with the United States Air Force at Little Rock AF Base in Arkansas and Offutt AF Base in Nebraska. He has served as the Executive Associate Program Director at University of Illinois-Peoria Family Practice Residency Program at Methodist Medical Center. His special interests are in Women’s Health, Preventive Medicine, and Practice Management/ Electronic Health Records. Academic positions include a Clinical Associate Professor from the University of Illinois- Peoria.
