Under the leadership of the Director of Clinical Operations, serves as the primary contact for day-to-day operations of the assigned clinic nursing staff. Coordinates the daily operations and responsible for both patient and provider flow within the clinic. Works jointly with functional leaders of Patient Accounting, Patient Access and Information Management. Contributes to the selection, training, development and assessment of staff. Implements policies and procedures for the operation of the clinics. Evaluates processes and makes recommendations for improvements.

Essential Functions
1.    Facilitates patient flow and physician productivity
2.   Contributes to physician department meeting agendas
3.   Facilitates Provider practice start-ups (huddles)
4.   Works closely with director of clinical operations in all areas of clinic operations
5.   Acts as a resource for nurses and their clinical practice (nursing clinic supervisors only)
6.   CQI
7.   Communication/Leadership
8.   Team Development
9.   Budgeting
10. Acts as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and is highly committed to a team construct
11.  Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures
Required Education and Experience
•    Highschool plus minimum of 1-year post-secondary education in business or health-related field
•    Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program preferred. Candidates with certification and/or appropriate experience in related field (lab, x-ray, etc.) may be considered.
•    Minimum of 2 years medical office experience OR minimum of 5 years progressively more responsible healthcare
